Then my flight was delayed by more than four hours! With another flight to Koh Samui scheduled for the next day, I decided to cancel my original flight and book Cathay Pacific Business Class at the last minute using Qatar Airways Privilege Club Avios. And here’s the unexpected twist: an aircraft change meant I ended up with a lie-flat Business Class seat in a 1-2-1 configuration! Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this flight, particularly the attentive cabin crew and the spacious seat. The food was a mixed bag, though, and the braised pork was much fattier than I would have liked.
