Conductive Concrete workability during construction and implementation. Conductive Concrete is a building material used in construction to make a snow-melt system. Conductive Concrete can be implemented anywhere regular concrete is used. Our de-icing Conductive Concrete technology can be used in many places, including but not limited to; driveways, sidewalks, busy main streets, highway bridge decks, highways, airplane runways, airline terminal aprons, bus platforms, and parking garages. Our concrete has more mechanical strength than ordinary concrete (5,000 to 6,000 PSI), requires low maintenance, has uniform heating distribution, can utilize programmable control features, has a long service life, and features low energy consumption cost ($.02-$.04/SF per snow storm). Our snow-melt system provides many tangible and intangible benefits. Some of the economic benefits and sources of value for our system include; Environmental heath- areas with conductive concrete will not require road salt or other snow/ice treating chemicals Protection of life- areas with conductive concrete can save people from slips and falls, preventing injuries and lawsuits Convenience- mobilizing a crew to re-pave an area can be very expensive, time consuming, and inconvenient for the organizers of the effort and for the community (Disruption to traffic flow) Energy savings- areas with conductive concrete have significantly lower energy consumption compared to a hydronic or heated cable snow melt systems Time savings- organizing, managing, and implementing any new changes to a concrete project requires a significant investment in time; but conductive concrete implementation requires only the initial investment of resources Life-cycle cost savings- salting, plowing, repair costs, energy cost, and opportunity costs for using a substitute technology Maintenance Savings- Once the initial investment is made, there is low maintenance compared to other snow-melt technologies Conductive Concrete is not meant to replace all forms of snow-melt technologies or alternatives- each method has their pros and cons. Conductive Concrete is not meant to replace all other forms of concrete. There are passive and active variations of our product. Active applications use electricity. Passive applications such as our Protective Shielding (EMP/RF) Conductive Concrete do not use electricity. We are Conductive Concrete technologies. We provide engineering and construction consulting services. During each project, we work with architects and design engineers. We provide material and construction specifications to the prime contractor and the ready mixed concrete company and they implement our Conductive Concrete technology. Depending on the nature of each project, we may supervise the implementation of our technology. We also maintain high QA/QC standards throughout every phase of each project from design through implementation. We collect data for each project before, during, and after the implementation of our technology. Conductive Concrete technology is patented. Although our technology is new in the marketplace, Dr. Christopher Y. Tuan has been developing Conductive Concrete for over 25 years. Conductive Concrete Technology is proven and safe.
