Sonata da Organo di varii - Bartolomeo Monari [Johannus LiVE III AGO]

This Sonata for Organ was composed by Bartolomeo Monari (1662-1697), with this edition being prepared by Maurizio Machella, who kindly makes many of his editions freely available on the internet, including this one. This recording was made on an Johannus AGO Live III on the sample of the Sauer organ in the Michaeliskirche in Leipzig. Samples are available to be played as they would sound in four different positions in the church. This recording was made using the rearmost sample, which presents the most generous acoustic position available. Steven Maxson is well known as an organist, conductor, composer, and arranger.
