2025-05-31 (5) -- Hebrews 13: Wrapping Up

As we've seen in so many New Testament letters so far, the writer of Hebrews wraps up his message by switching focus from heavy-duty theological concepts to practical advice for daily living. Then, at the end, he finally starts talking like a typical NT letter-writer and starts sharing personal and logistical information with his audience. With this information, and the information from Acts and Paul's letters, we can, I believe, date the book of Hebrews pretty precisely to sometime between Nero's suicide in June 68 AD and the fall of Jerusalem in the summer of 70 AD.
