Born into a musical lineage, she is the daughter of the esteemed Carnatic musician, Professor K.V. Narayanaswamy, and Padma Narayanaswamy. Her father, often referred to as KVN, was a prominent figure in Carnatic music, celebrated for his adherence to traditional styles and his association with the legendary Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar. Anuradha's musical journey commenced at the tender age of three under the guidance of her mother, Smt. Padma Narayanaswamy. Her early immersion in music laid a robust foundation for her future endeavors. She further honed her skills under the mentorship of her father, absorbing the rich traditions of Carnatic music. Her dedication and talent led her to receive the prestigious Ford Foundation Scholarship in 1991, enabling her to study under Padmabhushan Smt. T. Brinda and Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. T. Viswanathan for six months. She has since graced numerous esteemed platforms and has also performed internationally in many countries.Throughout her career, Anuradha has been the recipient of numerous accolades, reflecting her mastery and dedication to the art form.
