Why is the government reluctant to fight corruption and impunity?

Over the course of this interview with AG Radio, Mr. Ben Suwareh provides his viewpoint on the reasons why the government is unwilling to combat corruption and impunity. As far as Mr. Suwareh is concerned, virtually all of the people who are close to President Barrow are extremely corrupt. The government of Barrows is steeped in pervasive corruption.
