Gameplay of Forge Splattershot Pro on clam blitz. It's been quite a while since I've last played this weapon, so I though I give it another shot. Thanks to @crunchy_spl for requesting this weapon. Splattershot Pro is a mid range weapon that does good damage, solid DPS, solid paint output, solid mobility, good accuracy, and is kind of ink hungry. And the kit is quite good. Suction bomb is a sub weapon that will stick onto surfaces and then will shortly explode. And booyah bomb is a special weapon that allows you to charge a spirit bomb and throw it at opponents while also being able to tank some shots. Now let's talk about the strength and weakness of this weapon and it's kit. The weapon is a bit versatile when it want to play aggro and support the team. The weapon has the damage, accuracy, and DPS to deal some aggro pressure while also still having the paint output to quickly build up your special. But although the weapon has solid DPS, there's other weapon that have faster DPS and kill time than Pro. The paint output is enough to help paint for your special, but not really enough to quickly paint over a terrain. And the weapon is quite ink hungry as well. Suction bomb is quite good for helping you displace or killing opponents from a distance. The size of the explosion cover more area than a splat bomb and the bomb being able to stick to wall can make it get some sneaky kills. But the bomb take a bit longer to explode compare to splat bomb, making the a bit easy for opponent to avoid the bomb. It's also quite expensive to use as well. And booyah bomb is great for displacing opponent from a distance while tanking a lot of shot. To charge it up, you have to spam the "Booyah Tag" to build up the armor and the spirit bomb. Teammate can also help you charge up your special as well. They also gain a slight increase in their special if they help out. Once fully charged, you can now throw the bomb a really far distance. The explosion cover a big area and this can help you displace opponent and help your team push. But it can take some time to charge up, especially if your teammate don't help, and although it's tanky, enemies can still shred through it pretty quickly. So when playing Forge Splattershot Pro, you want to focus on applying a bit of aggro pressure and controlling your lane. You have the range to keep out short range weapon and contest against other mid-range weapon, so utilizes that. And when push up, utilizes cover and you can either flank or even flank them to close the gap. Throw out some suction to displace opponent from a safe distance and once have your special ready, activate it to help you further apply pressure and displace opponents from an area. Just remember to manage your ink tank and try not overextending too much. Thanks for reading this and hope you guys enjoy the video.
