"Muddy Waters " Live from concert. Throw the listening, that song transforms the venue into a dark chapel and LP pours raw, screaming agony into the microphone during the climax, making the audience feel like they are drowning and surviving right alongside her. LP's stunning vocal control and passionate stage presence turn this track into a cathartic, theatrical experience that cuts right to the soul. LP( Laura Pergolizzi) performed that gig via "All Is Not Lost " World Tour 2026 at Wiltern Theater, Los Angeles, California, USA on October 15 th, 2026. That concert marks the final stop of North American leg for the tour, which specifically celebrates the 10th anniversary of LP global breakthrough hit "Lost on You". This is my personal recording of the concert for future fond memories of this mesmerizing event. Enjoy! Thanks for watching! Please Like 👍 & Subscribe! It was recorded in 2015 and officially published on September 22, 2015, on the Death Valley EP, The song was officially republished on December 9, 2016, as a key track on her breakthrough fourth studio album, Lost on You. "Muddy Waters" was the song that saved LP’s career. It was featured during the incredibly emotional, tragic final scene of Orange Is the New Black (Season 4 finale). The television feature went viral, forcing the music industry to finally pay attention to LP's solo genius. The full "Lost on You" album is often called a "breakup diary." LP structured the tracklist to take the listener through all the stages of grief, loneliness, and eventual survival, making it a beautiful, cohesive piece of tragic art. Despite its massive, cinematic indie-pop sound, a significant portion of the album's vocals and ukulele tracks were recorded in a messy home bedroom studio belonging to LP’s friend and producer, Mike Del Rio. This lack of big-budget pretense gave the album its uniquely intimate, warm, and human texture. Major labels originally tried to force LP to change her signature androgynous style and write generic pop songs for other artists (like she did for Rihanna and Christina Aguilera). This separate album was her fierce, uncompromising statement that she would only release music as her true, authentic self.
