Lori Lieberman - Michael and The Children

We still have a bit more from Lori Lieberman's self-titled debut album. From what I understand, this song has been published here before. But I bring it to you anyway. This song that comes from the 1st side of the record is titled "Michael and The Children". HERE ARE THE LYRICS: Gonna keep my eye on the rim of the sky Where the darkness meets the China Hill Gonna drink a toast to the Holy Ghost And pray He doesn't leave the four winds still Gonna steer my ship on a glorious trip Through the corridor behind the sun Gonna hold the light in my fist rolled tight And leave behind the man behind the gun Row Michael and the children From the burning side Blanket for the baby On the righteous ride Row Michael and the children From the burning side Blanket for the baby On the righteous ride Gonna make my way to the mightiest day To where every living thing walks free Gonna stand and shine gonna be divine 'Cause what you are is what your eyes can see Gonna sail my ark to creation's spark Gonna touch it and begin again Gonna live with love gonna die with love And all I ever can be I'll be then (Continuously…) Row Michael and the children From the burning side Blanket for the baby On the righteous ride Row Michael and the children From the burning side Blanket for the baby On the righteous ride WARNING: The Lori Lieberman Album has been produced by Capitol Records.
