LIVING IN HUTTO, TEXAS - Small town near Austin

I recently visited downtown Hutto, Texas. If you are not familiar with Hutto, it's a small town just outside of Austin, Texas, East of the 130 tollway on Hwy 79. There's a story behind the Hippo. Currently, the population sits just under 30,000. But, it's gonna grow. It's one of Texas' fastest-growing small towns. There's a lot happening in Hutto. New home construction, new businesses coming, new city hall, co-op space, a new sports complex, and everything in between. But, this town still has that small-town vibe. It's just far enough away from the big city, but yet close enough. As you drive around the town, you will notice Hippos...hippos everywhere.
