LAKE ERIE WALLEYE SLAM OCT 2ND vermilion ohio 2021

#LAKEERIEWALLEYE #WALLEYESLAM #VERMILIONOHIO We decided to start getting ready for the upcoming walleye slam/fawlbrawl tournys this year. Launched out of vermilion river and headed north to about 45 fow. The bite for the last week has been prime in this area with numbers of bigger fish being pulled. The average fish has been right around 4lbs with an occasional 7or 8lb kicker. We ran deep diving bandits from organ donor custom tackle to pull ruffly 15 fish and the biggest going 7.5lbs. Its a long way from what will be needed to place in the tourny but they are getting bigger as the days draw closer. The speeds ran were right at 1.8-2.2mph on the fishhawk with potato bread and chilly willy colors producing the best. It sure was great being back on the water after a couple months of doing nothing but going to work.
