本作品は、国立映画アーカイブが所蔵する文化・記録映画など映画作品を配信するWEBサイト「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」https://filmisadocument.jp（制作：国立映画アーカイブ、国立情報学研究所）の公開作品です。 『阿寒』 (アカン、1936-1938年) 文部省 11分, 白黒, サイレント 1934年に国立公園に指定された北海道東部の阿寒地帯の雄大な自然美を記録した教育映画。現在の公園の名称は阿寒摩周国立公園。屈斜路湖、摩周湖、阿寒湖という3つの火口原湖、雄阿寒岳、雌阿寒岳、阿寒富士という山々、そして様々な植物が紹介される。元素材は無声だが、各参考文献から「発声版」が先に製作されていたと考えられる。 「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」では、1915年から1938年までの間に製作された作品を中心に45作品を新たに公開します。今回は、官民で製作された多彩な教育映画のほか、大正天皇即位にかかわる貴重なフィルムや国内外の様々な出来事や風物を伝える作品を集めました。国立映画アーカイブでは、今後も随時公開作品を増やしていく予定です。ぜひサイトをお訪ねください。 ---------------------------------------------------- This is one of the films featured on the website “Film IS a Document: NFAJ Historic Film Portal” (a joint project of the National Film Archive of Japan and the National Institute of Informatics) which streams a selection of titles from the NFAJ film collection with initial focus on cultural and documentary films. The selection includes a variety of educational films produced by the public and private sectors, while valuable footage related to the enthronement of Emperor Taisho and films that convey various events, scenery and customs both in Japan and abroad.
