第13回 三色湖 国三四九，生生世世久久；三湖异色，白黑黄各成景

Along the way, I rode through spectacular high-altitude landscapes, vast fields of highland barley, and striking dark-red Danxia landforms. I also passed kilometer 349 of National Highway G349—a fun and fitting spot to stop for a photo. Later, I left the main G349 route to visit the Three-Color Lakes, a beautiful group of alpine lakes hidden deep in the mountains. Admission is currently free. The Yongcun Village Committee offers free Wi-Fi and washing machines, as well as free parking and space for travelers to pitch tents. Simple metal cabins are also available for RMB 30 per night. Quite a few travelers stop here to rest along the way. I stayed at the Yongcun Village Committee for two consecutive nights, taking an extra day off to rest, do some laundry, recharge, and visit nearby Banbar County town.
