Valiant Gold (ASX: VAL) Comet Restart Update | October 2026

Managing Director & CEO Brendan Tritton talks us through the latest from the Comet Gold Mine in Western Australia's Murchison region. Since re-entering the underground in July 2026, Valiant has pumped the water level down to 170 metres below surface and installed the workshop, site offices, medical centre and primary ventilation fans. The 6.1MW power station is set to be installed and commissioned by the end of October 2026. With processing capacity available at the Tuckabianna Mill, 14km by road, under an Ore Purchase Agreement with Westgold Resources, Valiant doesn't need to build a mill. Comet is funded through to first production, targeted for H2 FY27.
