WELCOME TO TUNE TIME I came to traditional music later in life, and when I started out I couldn't find what I really needed: a way to play real session tunes at a pace I could manage, with a band behind me and the music in front of me. So I decided to make it. Tune Time is the resource I wish I'd had when I was starting out, and I hope it helps you on your own journey with the music. Irish music is learned the way it has always been learned: by playing it with other people, again and again, until the tunes live in your fingers. Not everyone has a session around the corner, so Tune Time brings one to you. Each week there's a new set of tunes, recorded at two speeds: a slower one to learn at, and a faster one to build towards session pace. I hope you enjoy using this as a resource to learn new tunes and, above all, to have fun. This is a stress-free place to play: pause, rewind, drop out and join back in, try a set as many times as you like. Nobody's listening but you. Every instrument and every level is welcome, and there are no wrong notes in your own kitchen.
