Cross-Border Railway Journey from China to Laos Xishuangbanna, China → Luang Prabang, Laos A complete cross-border railway journey from Xishuangbanna in Yunnan Province, China, to the historic city of Luang Prabang in Laos. The adventure begins at Xishuangbanna Railway Station, where I board the China–Laos Railway and travel south through the mountainous landscapes of Yunnan. The journey includes immigration and customs procedures at Mohan, China's border checkpoint, followed by entry into Laos through Boten. After completing the border formalities, the train continues through the beautiful mountains, forests, and rural landscapes of northern Laos. Upon arriving at Luang Prabang Railway Station, I take a local transfer to the city center, experiencing the final stage of this international journey. This video documents the entire travel experience, including railway transportation, border crossing procedures, immigration, station facilities, and local transportation.
