In My Sketchbook - Negative Painting Over Collage

065 In today’s video I create a collage in my giant Reader’s Digest map book (.92 cents at the thrift store!) then practice negative painting to create a fun winter scene featuring a self portrait, a trio of etheric spirit beings, and several playful pine trees. It was wicked fun and I hope you enjoy hanging out with me while I make it. I talk. Let’s hang out! Supplies used: Liquitex Matte Gel Medium as glue, photocopy scraps of my printable collage papers, Behr Ultra Pure White acrylic paint (Home Depot) and a black medium point pen for detailing.
