Gel Print Spirit Guide Collage | Honor Your Loved Ones Passed

025 Today's mixed media collage, "Spirit Guides" was created using hand-printed papers from my Gelli plate, channels the layered presence of spirit guides and ancestral energy. Influenced by the graphic elegance of Rex Ray, the composition blends playful geometry with spiritual symbolism: a house with a ladder reaching skyward, crowned by radiant figures who whisper guidance from beyond. Each cut shape—from leafy forms to cosmic bursts—echoes the quiet power of those who came before us. Whether we can hear them or not, their presence endures - watchful, wise, and beautifully woven into the everyday. This collage honors the short life of my 19 year old son, Neal. When you’re ready, you may also find healing in the world of art therapy. I’m using a 16x20 up-cycled canvas from a thrift store, as well as standard newsprint hand painted on a gel plate with acrylic paint. Interested in quality, artsy products featuring this design?
