Early season overnight solo camp on the Cline River, Alberta PLUZ April 28-29-2025

taking you way back to the year 2025... First Hike of the 2025 season. had a rare window of warm weather at the end of April, took a drive down to the David Thompson hwy (11) for a night out on the Cline River. there are two two designated campgrounds on the Cline before Pinto Lake. one is at 7km, the junction for Landslide Lake (Entry Creek) and the other is around the 18km mark at the junction for Waterfalls creek. I took it easy and camped at Entry Creek. There are many spots to camp there and are all the close to the river. It's a peaceful 7km hike through some nice forest and a scenic viewpoint along the way. the Cline River offers many options and is a great early season destination.
