These are so easy to make and my family loves them. It's very versatile and you can add whatever you want to make it your way. Your kitchen, your way ; ) I made a big amount in this video but I'll give you the smaller version down below. Recipe In the crockpot 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken. I use a mix of white and dark meat. Small red onion chopped or sliced 15 oz can of diced tomato's drained 1/2 cup of Italian dressing 1/2 packet of dry Italian dressing powder mix (optional) 1 tsp of sugar Salt, to taste Black pepper, to taste Red pepper flakes ( as much or as little and you like) A couple, or a few, cloves of minced garlic 1/4 cup or so of fresh basil, or a couple tsp of dried, depending on what you have on hand and how much you want Some jarred banana peppers with a little juice, use as much as you like Assembly Your favorite sub buns Your cheese of choice Chicago style Giardiniera Sandwich mix More banana peppers Italian dressing Cook in crockpot on high for about 4 hours. Place chicken in a bowl and shred with forks. Set the juice in the crockpot aside. You could use it as a dip for your sub, or to pour over the chicken if you feel it needs more juice. Pile the chicken on your sub, top with cheese and put it in your air fryer or oven to get it all toasty. Top with more banana peppers and the Giardiniera sandwich mix. Drizzle some Italian dressing on it. Take a huge bite and enjoy.
