On-Site Machining of Cruise Ship Rudderstock in Bahamas

A cruise ship undergoing drydocking in Bahamas discovered one of its rudderstocks had excessive ovality and scoring. Goltens deployed its single point cutting tools to rectify the 870mm diameter x 1,115mm long journal. Machining was completed in 5 days on-site in Bahamas.
