What does it take to become the best pizza maker in Oceania? We sat down with Luca to find out. Luca is one of the owners and the pizzaiolo at La Calabrese Pizzeria in Endeavour Hills, Melbourne. We wanted to hear the story behind his journey — from arriving in Australia in 2019 to competing against hundreds of pizza makers in Naples and being named Best Pizza Maker of Oceania 2025 at the DOC Pizza World Championship.
