RARE HAIR – Part 3! 🤘 1989 was arguably the peak year for hair metal, glam metal, and hard rock—but with so many albums being released, a lot of great bands got completely lost in the shuffle. In this episode of Rare Hair, I continue digging through the harder-to-find and underrated albums from 1989, focusing on records that you don't often see sitting in the bins at your local record store. Some of these albums were successful. Others barely got noticed. And a few are absolute gems that deserved to be much bigger than they were. 1989 was an incredible year for this music, but it was also the point where the market became massively saturated. With so many bands competing for attention, plenty of great records simply disappeared into the background. Now, decades later, it's fun to rediscover them.
