This is my Mamaw's Apple Cake recipe. Created in the 1940s by the Wesson Cooking oil cooking company, she made this recipe every year from the apples on her 2 apple trees. Its cozy apple flavor and easy baking are 2 big reasons this cake is a southern family favorite!
