#dineshkanji #rahulgandhi #amitshah #fcraamendment ‘मी बुडाला पाय लावून पळणार’, असे विरोधी पक्षनेते राहुल गांधी यांनी कालच पत्रकार परीषद घेऊन जाहीर केले होते. शब्द वेगळे वापरले असतील, परंत आशय हाच होता. ते जे काही म्हणाले ते रेकॉर्डवर आणण्यासाठी केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शहा यांनी आज संसदेच्या परीसरात पत्रकारांशी बोलनाता राहुल यांना आव्हान दिले, ‘कोणत्याही विषयावर बोलायला मी तयार आहे, तुम्ही फक्त चर्चेला तयार असल्याचे लिहून द्या.’ राहुल गांधी या आव्हानाचा स्वीकार कऱणार नाही, याची अमित शहा यांना खात्री असावी. ‘आम्हाला गृहमंत्र्यांचे लेक्चर ऐकायचे नाही’, असे उत्तर राहुल गांधी यांनी दिले, अमित शहा यांच्या राजीनाम्याची मागणी पुढे केली. झारखंडमध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांवर झालेल्या अमानुष लाठीमारामुळे राहुल गांधी आधीच बॅकफूटवर आले होते, त्यात त्यांच्या एका फोटोबाबत भाजपा नेत्याने केलेल्या टीप्पणीमुळे ते अधिक पिसाटले असण्याची शक्यता आहे. काँग्रेस हा विषवृक्ष आहे आणि राहुल गांधी या झाडाला आलेले सगळ्यात विषारी फळ. विरोधी पक्षनेता म्हणून संसदेत तर्कसंगत चर्चा घडवण्यावर त्यांचा कधीच भर नसतो. कारण चर्चा करताना मुद्दे मांडावे लागतात, तर्क द्यावे लागतात. राहुल गांधी यांच्याकडे या दोहोंचा दुष्काळ आहे. त्यांना मुद्देसूद बोलता येत नाही. डोळ्यांमध्ये कायम दिसणारा प्रचंड गोंधळ, विचित्र अंगविक्षेप करत तोंडाला येईल ते सत्ताधाऱ्यांच्या विरोधात बोलायचे, उत्तरे ऐकण्याची वेळ आली की पळ काढायचा, अशी त्यांची रीत आहे. जेव्हा केव्हा ते पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी किंवा अमित शहा यांचे उत्तर ऐकण्यासाठी सभागृहात थांबले तेव्हा त्यांचा चेहरा पाटणकर काढा प्यायल्या सारखा दिसला आहे. “‘I’ll put my foot down and run away,’ Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi had declared at a press conference just yesterday. That is because a debate requires one to present facts, make arguments, and provide reasoning. Rahul Gandhi appears to be severely lacking in both. He struggles to speak coherently on substantive issues. With immense confusion constantly visible in his eyes, making strange gestures and saying whatever comes to his mind against the government, only to walk away when it is time to hear the answers—that seems to be his usual approach.
