ROVI announces its financial results for the first nine months of 2026, a year in which the company has returned to a path of growth, driven by the strategic decisions adopted over recent years. In the first nine months of the year, ROVI booked operating revenue of 610.2 million euros,16% up on the same period of 2025, due mainly to the strong performance of the CDMO business. This division recorded sales of 263.9 million euros, representing a 45% increase on the same period of 2025. Additionally, sales of the specialty pharmaceutical business stood at 346.1 million euros, 1% higher than those for the first nine months of 2025. Within this division, Risperidone ISM® continued to be one of the company’s main growth drivers, with sales reaching 53 million euros, 29% higher than in the first nine months of the previous year. In the low-molecular-weight heparin business, sales decreased by 5% to 173.7 million euros, mainly due to the drop in international sales of both the enoxaparin biosimilar and bemiparin as a result of the high levels of stock accumulated by partners. The enoxaparin biosimilar recorded sales of 107.0 million euros, while bemiparin sales totalled 66.7 million euros in the first nine months of 2026. Despite this performance, ROVI expects bemiparin sales to improve in the fourth quarter, driven by a greater concentration of international orders, and maintains its 2026 growth guidance at a low single-digit percentage. Regarding low-molecular-weight heparins overall, ROVI maintains its guidance for sales to decline by a mid-single-digit percentage in 2026. While inventory adjustments at partners and competitive pricing pressure continue to affect performance, the year-to-date evolution of the LMWH business has been more favourable than expected at the beginning of 2026. Gross profit rose 26% in the first nine months of the year compared with the same period of 2025, standing at 443.7 million euros. Gross margin improved by 5.7 percentage points, reaching 72.7%, This increase was driven by the strong performance of the CDMO business, a growing contribution from Risperidone ISM®, a reduction in low-molecular-weight heparin material prices and recognition of revenue associated with the R&D grant awarded by the CDTI for the LAISOLID project. EBITDA increased by 52% to 226.6 million euros in the first nine months of 2026, with an EBITDA margin of 37.1%, representing an improvement of 8.7 percentage points on the same period of 2025. Net profit stood at 162.8 million euros, compared with the 97.7 million euros recorded in the first nine months of 2025, representing a 67% increase. Looking ahead to 2026, ROVI has upgraded its outlook. The group now expects operating revenue to grow at a mid- to high-single-digit percentage compared with 2025, up from its previous guidance of low- to mid-single-digit growth. This improved outlook is primarily driven by stronger expected growth in our contract manufacturing business, and a favourable evolution of the LMWH business, driven by higher expected volumes from bemiparin partners.
