In 2022, Ukraine's drones were mostly cheap camera quadcopters made for filming landscapes. By 2026 they had become a whole system: an industry its president says can build millions a year, a new branch of the armed forces, small uncrewed boats at sea, and strikes thousands of kilometres inside Russia. Russia adapted too. This video follows how it happened, and why no side keeps the advantage for long.
