Footage taken of the Beaulieu Workshop Team preparing the 1907 Fiat Itala 120hp for the St James's Concours of Elegance 2013.
Itala was one of the leading Italian quality car makes pre‑1914. In 1907 they entered three cars for the Coppa Della Velocita Race at Brescia; these finished first, eighth and tenth. This car was the winner, driven by Cagno at an average speed of 65.2mph/104.93kph for the 302 miles (486.02 kilometres). Weight is just over a ton, with a giant engine of 14.5 litres.
The car can now be seen on display at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu. www.beaulieu.co.uk
