Ambala Ring Road | Decongesting City Traffic & Boosting Connectivity

The Ambala Ring Road project is a major infrastructure development being undertaken to improve connectivity and reduce congestion in Ambala district, Haryana. With a total length of approximately 40.75 km, the project is being developed in two phases—Sadopur to Kapuri (NH-344GM) and Kapuri to Balana. Currently, around 65% of the construction work has been completed, with the project targeted for completion by September 2026. The ring road will connect key National Highways including NH-152, NH-344, NH-444A, and NH-44, enabling seamless movement of traffic without entering Ambala city and Ambala Cantt. This will significantly reduce congestion and improve travel efficiency for vehicles coming from Delhi, Shamli, Saha, and Kala Amb. Once completed, the project will enhance regional connectivity, reduce travel time, and support economic growth across the region.
