Let's Install a Terrible Polish Football Game From 2002 - Era Futbolu | Lost Net

What happens when you find a football game from 2002 that almost nobody remembers? Today I’m installing and playing Era Futbolu 2002, a very… ambitious Polish football game released as part of the Dobra Gra budget game series. The game was released around the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea and Japan, where Poland were competing — so it was clearly meant to tap into the excitement and hype surrounding the tournament. This is not FIFA. This is not Pro Evolution Soccer. This is something else entirely. Released at a time when Polish gaming magazines and budget CD-ROMs were packed with strange, obscure games, Era Futbolu 2002 is a perfect little piece of forgotten gaming history. So let’s put the CD in, install it, and see just how bad — or surprisingly good — Polish football gaming could get in 2002. This is part of the Lost Net series, where I revisit old games, software and digital experiences that have been left behind by the modern internet. Lost Net is an independent, non-profit archive inspired by the early digital world. We collect stories, interviews and fragments of digital history to preserve what that era actually felt like. 🌐 Website: https://lostnet.space/ 📸 Socials: @ lostnet.space ☕ Support Lost Net: https://ko-fi.com/lostnet ☕ Buy us a coffee: https://buycoffee.to/lostnet If you grew up with Polish gaming magazines, CD-ROMs you remember Dobra Gra.
