This is a part 3 of a documentary video in our research about the traditional fighting technique of Silambam in Tamil Nadu and whole world. Interview with Kalai Muthu Mani award winner & Silambam Master Sheik Usman. His students won International Silambam championships recently in Kuala Lumpur. He has taken the Silambam to another level i.e. to the International arena. Silambam is a traditional self defence and fighting technique which originated in Tamil Nadu about 1000 years BCE. Many kings like Veerapandya Kattaboman and Maruthu brothers in India have used the Silambam army to fight the British invasion. It is also known as Indian Martial Arts. Silambam technique is presented by Sheik Usman from Madurai. He's a guru for many Silambam learning students in Tamil Nadu.
