Recent cyclone-related rainfall has helped Andhra Pradesh overcome rainfall deficits in 16 districts, offering some relief ahead of the upcoming summer season. However, 12 districts are still facing rainfall shortages. Prakasam, Markapuram, Sri Sathya Sai and Kurnool continue to experience significant rainfall deficits, raising concerns over water availability and agricultural conditions. On the other hand, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Vizianagaram and Guntur are among the districts reporting surplus rainfall. Although Cyclone Arnab and Cyclone Murasu caused damage in several areas, the rainfall has also brought some relief to water-stressed regions.
