Kampala downpour leaves trail of destruction

A downpour that swept across several parts of Kampala Saturday evening has left a trail of destruction, with homes flooded, property destroyed and perimeter walls brought crashing to the ground. In Kimbejja Village along the Kyaliwajjala–Kira Road, residents are counting their losses after floodwaters swept through residential neighbourhoods and a popular entertainment spot, Matrix Breeze Lounge. In Lubigi, motorists and pedestrians were left struggling to navigate submerged roads. NTV’s David Ijjo visited the affected areas and now reports on the devastation and the growing calls for urgent government intervention. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter   / ntvuganda   Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda Contact us: CustomerCareUg@ug.nationmedia.com
