The Steering Column Fought Back | 1971 Bronco Restoration Ep. 6

The steering column put up a fight, but it’s finally out of Grandpa’s 1971 Ford Bronco. In this episode, I remove the steering wheel, work through the turn-signal switch and column connections, pull the steering shaft, and get the heater assembly out. Along the way, I find a torn steering-shaft boot and start working through what’s still keeping the body attached to the frame. There’s more ahead: dash work, wiring, remaining connections, and eventually the body mounts. This is my AI-assisted restoration of my grandfather’s Bronco.
