The Northern Pygmy-Owl

The incredible Northern Pygmy-Owl. These ferocious predators stalk the forests and valleys of the Pacific Coast. Their tiny size belies their power and strength as they are capable of taking prey twice their own size. This is the second in my Species Spotlight series as we explore the birds and wildlife of British Columbia. All footage and photos were shot with Nikon cameras and lenses. This video was edited on the free version of Blackmagic's Davinci Resolve an amazing piece of software that I have only scratched the surface of, and am really excited to learn more as I go on this Youtube journey.
