BJD Attacks BJP Over Mayor’s Name Missing from Plaque | Babu Singh Hits Back | Odia news

A political controversy has erupted in Odisha over the alleged omission of the Mayor’s name from an inauguration plaque. The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has criticised the move, calling it undemocratic and alleging that the BJP government is attempting to take credit for a project whose foundation was laid by former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Responding to the allegations, BJP MLA Babu Singh claimed that former MP Aparajita Sarangi was also excluded from several official plaques during the previous BJD government. The exchange has intensified the political debate over recognition, project credit, and political rivalry in Odisha. #News18odia #OdishaPolitics #BJD #BJP #BabuSingh #NaveenPatnaik #AparajitaSarangi #Mayor Welcome to News18 Odia, your go-to destination for the latest news and updates from across India and beyond.
