In this Dhamma talk, we explore the topic of Nibbāna (Nirvana), the origin story behind the name, its context in the ancient spiritual systems existing at the time of the Buddha and the many ways in which the Buddha used this word, which is so important to Buddhism. In this discourse, the often misunderstood concept of nibbāna is brought to a new light in relation to dependent origination, one of the Buddha's deepest teachings on the causality of our experience.
