Running the YORKSHIRE 10 MILE!

I'm running a half marathon on 29th March 2020! I'm doing it to raise money for Doncaster based charity, The Partially Sighted Society. Find out more about why in my last video:    • I'm Running A HALF MARATHON!   This is the furthest I've ever ran, so the 10 mile was definitely a challenge for me. This just gave me a tase of what the half marathon will be like. After every mile my legs hurt more and more. Sight loss is a topic close to my heart. It can happen to anybody and at any time. I’ve seen how hard it can be living with sight loss and it can be very difficult to come to terms with. All of these have different conditions which effects the way each person sees in different ways. THE PARTIALLY SIGHTED SOCIETY The Partially Sighted Society are a national charity who help anybody living with sight loss. Their aim is to help visually impaired people make the best use of their remaining vision by providing information, advice, training, magnifiers and electronic low vision aids and clear print material. They offer sight tests and free low vision assessments, a unique range of bold-lined stationery, exercise books, diaries and calendars. They also organise support groups and have a resource centre with a wide variety of aids to daily living such as lights and magnifiers.
