Final Summer Friday at National Tramway Museum | 28th August 2026

Join me at the National Tramway Museum at Crich, Derbyshire, filmed on Friday 29th August 2026, for the final Friday running day of the museum's summer season. Operating passenger services during our visit are two very different preserved tramcars – Blackpool 762 and Leeds 399 – and throughout the video we see both cars working along the museum's tramway. There's plenty of trackside action as we follow the two trams through the recreated period street and along the line, capturing the sights and sounds of these historic vehicles at work on the last Friday operation of the summer. Back at the depot, there's also some interesting yard shunting activity, with various other members of the National Tramway Museum collection being moved around. These behind-the-scenes movements provide an opportunity to see several trams which weren't operating passenger services during the day. With Blackpool 762 and Leeds 399 in service, together with the additional depot and yard movements, this video captures another varied day of tramway operation at Crich as the museum's summer season begins to draw to a close.
