It took 18 years to build and opened on 29 March 1994. • Genting founder Lim Goh Tong donated the 28-acre site. The temple is named after Chin Swee (Master Qingshui), a Buddhist monk worshipped as a deity in Fujian, China. • The nine-storey pagoda has 285 steps to the top and holds thousands of blessing lamps that worshippers dedicate to loved ones. • The Ten Chambers of Hell are set in grottos cut into the hillside, each showing the punishment for a different wrongdoing.
