According to one folk tradition, offerings to foxes once included fried mice, before gradually changing to fried tofu. This is the story of a fox spirit struggling to accept that change. For centuries, this proud and dignified fox spirit has watched over the lives of humans. But one day, her beloved offering of fried mouse is replaced with fried tofu. Anger, doubt, and inner conflict begin to stir within her. Should she stand by her pride, or accept the offering placed before her? Caught between human kindness and her longing for a lost favorite, the fox spirit faces a dilemma that is both humorous and bittersweet.
