Photo to Parts: Using Claude AI to Design a 3D-Printed Chevy Suburban Armrest Tray from Two Photos

I wanted a custom tray for the center console armrest in my Chevy Suburban, so I decided to see what Claude AI could do with just two photos. In about 90 minutes, I went from those photos to a custom 3D model that I could print and actually use in my vehicle. This video demonstrates a practical application of AI-assisted CAD design and 3D printing. Rather than modeling the part entirely by hand, I used Claude to help develop a functional design based on photos of the existing armrest.
