Handlebar Muffs

I bought these Handlebar muffs many months ago, when the weather was warming up. But with the cold having a firm grasp on the air, now is the time to give them a go. When I started the ride this morning, it was 40°F, and during the ride it got even lower (37°). I rode bare handed for over an hour and reaching speeds up to 70 MPH, covered only by the muffs. I found these mitts on Ebay, using the search words: Motorcycle Handlebar Muffs. These particular muffs were priced around $30 USD and came from China. I remember the seller had them listed as being waterproof. I really don't want to test it by purposely riding in the rain.
