Our Bottom 3 of the 9 Star Wars Films: Where We Disagree and Where We Agree

Episode 5 of the Lightside Collectibles Podcast! Roger and I kick off a series on the nine main Star Wars films with a fun question: which three land at the bottom for each of us? This one runs a little over an hour, and we have a great time with it. Here's what we get into: A fandom check in: Roger's family rewatch of The Mandalorian, Clone Wars, Star Wars Visions, and an idea for Disney Plus to offer release order and chronological order viewing Why vintage is still my sweet spot as a collector, and how I think about newer figures compared to vintage ones Why Star Wars has such staying power, from the 1987 convention celebrating its first ten years to the movies being remembered today Our bottom three of the nine films: we both put The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker near the bottom (in a different order), and we split on the third pick Deleted scenes worth hunting down, and what we love in the films we are not ranking highly Memories from Star Wars Celebration in Denver in 1999 and seeing Star Wars films at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood The big takeaway: you can disagree about a film and still appreciate one another. Film and pop culture can bring us together instead of dividing us. Now it is your turn. What are your bottom three, and why? Tell us in the comments, and keep it civil. We would love to hear what resonated with you. Resources mentioned: https://whatnot.com/invite/lightsidec...
