Preparing for the First Frost 🍂 Winter Jobs Around My Cottage

The first frost is just around the corner, so it's time to get my little cottage, garden and animals ready for winter. 🍂 My family is still here helping me with a few jobs around the property, and we're making the most of these past autumn days. In this week's vlog, I dig up my dahlias to store them safely until spring, harvest the last peppers and potatoes from the vegetable garden, and make some much-needed improvements around the cottage. I also create a new storage space underneath the stairs and replace the chicken run roof with a much stronger, more weather-resistant covering to keep my girls protected through the colder months. There's plenty to do before winter arrives, but it's lovely to have an extra pair of hands and share these little moments together. Thank you for spending a little time here with me. I hope you enjoy this autumn day at the cottage. 🤎 #CottageLife #SlowLiving #AutumnVlog
