Living heritage encompasses the practices, knowledge, skills and expressions that communities, and groups recognize as part of their cultural heritage. It is continuously recreated and transmitted from generation to generation, providing communities with a sense of identity, continuity and sustainability while contributing to cultural diversity and social cohesion. This session brought together teachers, cultural heritage practitioners and government representatives to examine how integrating and safeguarding living heritage can become an integral part of learning and teaching practices in the region, especially in the face of digital transformation.
