Micro-credentials: For Whom, By Whom, and Where?

With 85% of employment in sub-Saharan Africa rooted in the informal economy and 40% of today's job skills set to change by 2030, flexible learning pathways are increasingly becoming essential. This session unpacked the fundamentals of micro-credentials and explored their role in complementing existing higher education and TVET systems.
