Started the journey from Kozhikode, took a train to Thalassery, bus to Mattannur and reached Kannur International Airport before flying to Mumbai. After some airport wandering, vada pav and waiting through the night, I boarded my direct flight to Nairobi, Kenya. This is my first ever Africa travel vlog and honestly, one of the most exciting international expeditions I’ve done so far. Kenya has always been on my bucket list for its wildlife, safaris, landscapes and culture. Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for Kenya travel, and I had taken mine from Airport Health Organisation, Kochi Airport before starting this trip. This entire Kenya expedition is organised by Wild Escape, a travel company based in Nairobi, run by fellow Malayalis. For the first time, I’m travelling without planning everything myself and trusting others completely with the route and experience. Atul and Kumar uncle picked me up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and we drove through the beautiful roads of Nairobi while discussing our 2-week Kenya expedition plan.
