When I married Matteo, I didn't just gain a husband — I married into a big Italian family. This time I'm the one being folded in. Come spend a completely normal day with me and Matteo's family in Italy — no tourist stuff, no big events, just real daily life. We do laundry with his mom, share long lunches and dinners around the table, and walk the neighborhood to pick up groceries. It's the small, ordinary stuff — and it's exactly the kind of day that makes you feel like you actually belong. For me, it's also a glimpse of our future. Matteo and I are an Italian–American couple in Pittsburgh, saving toward a slower life in Italy, and days like this are what we're building toward — seen from the inside. If you've married into a family from a different culture, what made you finally feel like part of it? Tell me below. 🖤 Intractable by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/... #interculturalcouple #interracialmarriage #blacklove #blackamerican #movingabroad
