Can a Vocal Coach Handle Bluegrass? | Reacting to Billy Strings for the First Time!

I am diving headfirst into the world of modern bluegrass, and my jaw is officially on the floor! Today, I'm reacting to and breaking down three incredible tracks by the phenomenal Billy Strings: "Richard Petty," "Dust in a Baggie," and "Gild the Lily." As an opera singer and vocal coach, I am completely mesmerized by what this man can do. Between his breakneck flatpicking speed, his incredible rhythm, and the raw, authentic storytelling in his vocals, there is so much musical genius to unpack here. He is completely redefining what bluegrass music can be, and the sheer stamina required for these performances is mind-blowing! Billy Strings fans—where should I go next with his catalog? What live performance or album do I absolutely need to check out after these three?
